Click the Apply Now button to begin your application. Please upload the following documents to complete your application:

 

  • – A valid email address
  • – Phone number
  • – WAEC, NECO, GCE or NABTEB results (with a minimum of 5 credits
    in both English and Mathematics)

 

Once you have submitted your application, you will receive an acceptance letter via mail in less than 24 hours if you are eligible for admission.

Upon receiving your acceptance letter, proceed to enrol in the courses for your programme of study and make payment.

Start Learning

Your journey to a successful career begins. 
After receiving your acceptance letter and making payment, please upload a photo of yourself to your student portal. A learning pack which includes your admission letter and other necessary orientation materials will be delivered to your provided physical address. 

You’ll be notified about upcoming school events and when classes commence.

Here’s what you need to study for a bachelor’s programme at Miva Open University

A copy of your O'level result

The result must include at least five credits in relevant subjects, obtained in no more than two sittings.

Please note that submission of Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) results is  NOT MANDATORY at this stage. However, upon admission to the university, the provided results will be thoroughly verified for authenticity and compliance with the stated criteria, including JAMB regularisation.

Is Miva licensed/accredited by the NUC?

Am I required to take JAMB/UTME?
Please note that submission of Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) results is not mandatory at this stage. However, upon admission to the university, the WAEC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB results you provided will be verified for authenticity, and JAMB Regularisation obtained.
Are Miva graduates eligible to participate in the NYSC Programme?
Miva University students are excluded from participating in the NYSC programme. Our graduates will receive a “Letter of exclusion from NYSC”, which grants them the same rights as an NYSC certificate.
What are the requirements to study at Miva Open University?
To apply, you need WAEC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB. The result must include a minimum of five credits in the course-relevant subjects (including English and Mathematics) in not more than two sittings. Application is free!

You will learn in a virtual classroom using Miva Open University’s learning management system. You can access pre-recorded content at your convenience and engage in real-time activities with other learners. The learning management system enables interaction between you, other students and teachers, offering access to course materials, discussion forums, multimedia content, and assessments.
Will I need to physically attend lectures?
Miva Open University offers online lectures. Optional meets and greets and other engagement events may be organized for students to interact with faculty members and classmates. In-person attendance is not compulsory.
How long does it take to earn a degree at Miva?

What countries are Miva University courses available for?

How will I take my exams?
At Miva Open University examinations are administered at our physical centers across various states in Nigeria. For students located outside Nigeria, examinations are facilitated through proctored arrangements.
